Project Blueprint
Spring 2017 Project Blueprint is an Electronic Arts sponsored project with Carnegie Mellon University’s Entertainment Technology Center. The project is translating the functionality of EA’s Sims 4 Build Mode into virtual reality. Our goal is to design and develop a virtual interface that effectively adapts the functionality of Build Mode. Through iterative design processes and play testing, we will develop an intuitive system that allows guests to access categories of objects, pull the objects out of the interface, and place them in the virtual build space. This allows the guest to build a Sims environment from within an immersive virtual space. Tools: HTC Vive, , Unity, Maya Role: Programmer / Technical Artist I worked on:

Wizard Detective Gameplay
Fall 2016 Goal: Round 4 Building Virtual Worlds assignment, where we were assignmed the task of making a story in VR in two weeks. Tools: Oculus Rift, Leap Motion Controller, Unity, Maya Role: Was in a group of five, where I was one of the programmers on this team.

Paperplane Gameplay
Fall 2016 Goal: Create a game where a naive user would be able navigate in a VR world without any help. Users are able to control the movement of the paper plane though different hand gestures. Tools: Oculus Rift, Leap Motion Controller, Unity, Maya Role: Was in a group of five, where I was one of the programmers on this team. Programmed paths for papers planes as well as created a lightnning tool for objects and clouds. |
Created a lightning script for my artist. This allowed them to attach a script to any cloud in a Unity scene and control how fast and frequently the lightning flashed in the clouds. |

Redundancy in Networks
Goal: Conduct research on redundancy in networks and different mechanisms to switch over from having backups at the hardware level to the software level to decrease a systems payload and increase efficiency
Tools: Matlab, Simlulink Role: Conducted various physics simulations via Matlab. Generate possible backups using the elements in the library I created. At the conclusion of the program, I presented my research to the University of Pennsylvania’s general audience |
Game Simulation and Virtualization
Goal: Senior design group project that created a two player Real-time player game game that simulates different kinds of military action and procedures. Use network API's such as Via and Emane to deploy actions over the network Tools: Java, Javascript, Unity Role: Programmer / Research Assistant |
